everybody has a New Year’s resolution
a moment of inspiration where the past is reviewed
and the future is planned
involving a “new and improved” version of oneself
thanks to all those who have offered inspiration, guidance, encouragement and criticism, 2011 will see the culmination of the journey of artistic discovery that began last year

Patti Spadaro CD

The Patti Spadaro “Bringing Me Back” CD has been delivered. My bass playing appears on five tracks and I added some 12-string jangle on one. This project taught me a great deal about the evolution of songs and the interplay among elements in a multitrack recording. I like how the songs developed from the embryonic guitar and vocal demos that Patti first laid down. Thanks to Brad Blackwood, the bass performances were well-preserved through the mixdown and mastering processes and the songs have retained their energy and dynamics. I hope the uplifting message of Patti’s songs reaches a broad audience with this release.
